Don Chareunsy wants a fight: Is Alicia Keys Off Key? No.

Because when you start talking the shiz about Ms. Keys you're asking for one. Chareunsy has some opinions about Alicia's new song, "No One." From Street:

Thing is, is Keys, well, off-key from beginning to end in "No One"? She sounds stuffed up ... nasally sounding. Randy, Paula and Simon might say she sounds "pitchy." She seems to hit more than a few bad notes, IMHO. Dare I say she sounds whiny? OK, I just said it.

I'm not going to go on about how this was probably an artistic decision, one where Keys is attempting to almost method act the song by allowing her voice to reach the "we've been singing all night, I've been up all this time and the only thing I want to sing about is you."

It's raw, emotional, and reminds one of the old records where singers weren't so over produced to the point that they really needn't sing at all, just sort of, oh I don't know, say a line or two. Computer voices might be what you're used to, but this stuff is for reals, yo.

However, Chareunsy has had more than a few people agree with him.
