The San Diego Business Journal is reporting that last years richest man in San Diego Ernest S. Rady is now the second richest man in San Diego. And, in a twist of fate, the once second richest man in San Diego, Charles H. Brandes, is now, wait for it, the richest man in San Diego.
In 2006, Ernest S. Rady, real estate magnate and philanthropist, ranked No. 1 on the list, according to research conducted by the San Diego Business Journal, while investor Charles H. Brandes took the second spot. In 2007, the two have switched positions, with Brandes’ estimated net worth listed as $2.6 billion, compared with Rady’s $2.2 billion. In 2006, it was Rady with $2.2 billion and Brandes at $2 billion.
I have nothing else to type about this one, I'm sure Rady and Brandes are sharing some hearty laughs over their million dollar bottle of wine crushed by angels, in a gold glass covered with diamonds while using hundred dollar bills to cough on. "You win this time Charlie, so you pick up the bill, feel like buying a country?"
Or maybe they are reading this blog right now (anything is possible!) and wondering why it is that people always make fun of those richie rich people who work so hard to make their money? I mean it's been months since they've bought a country, months...
