The Artist formerly known as Street Scene OR Street Diddy

So here is the article: written all about the future of Street Scene.

Of course, many veteran festivalgoers contend that Street Scene stopped being Street Scene in 2004, and they're largely right. That was the year the two-day music marathon was forced to move to the Petco Park parking lot after outgrowing the once-deserted Gaslamp Quarter and East Village, which the festival's success helped to revitalize.

And here is an interpretation of said article, a guessture if you will about the possible future of Street Scene. (It's worth the read, trust me.)

Analysis:A month? Maybe if you are using a monkey with an abacus. How long does it take to calculate "tickets sold", "refereshments sold", "percentage from merch table" and then calculate how much you paid the artists and staff (already determined). I could do that in five minutes. The only reason to delay is because you are going to cancel street scene and want to wait till everyone is away for the holidays. PR 101.

And here is a place to nominate/ rename Street Scene to what it should be called since it's not on the Street nor much of a Scene... lately. (Unless you count all those people writing about how much fun the artists tent was. Yeah people, we get it, it's much more fun to hang out with artists then us regular people paying $8 for water).
