A SDSU Student Newspaper makes MSNBC.

San Diego State is coming under fire for a student run newspaper's anti gay/lesbian comments. From MSNBC:

The letter was printed in the "Koala," in the personal section where people write comments. It is described as an underground newspaper that seeks attention by being provocative. The alleged threat said, "If I ever see you with your (expletive) poodle again, I am going to jump kick it in the face." The profanity laced letter also called administrator Doug Case, who is a homosexual, "a flaming (blank)." It was written in the first person and was signed, "The Greek Community."

Doug Case is the coordinator for fraternity and sorority life, he is also a homosecual. He has worked for the university for 28 years. San Diego's gay and lesbian community will be hosting a town hall meeting Wednesday as well as a rally next month.

According to the article:

The editor who chose to print the personal is a 20-year-old journalism student at SDSU. He would only grant NBC 7/39 an interview if the station brought him a case of beer. The station does not pay for interviews.

Still trying not to be a hypocrite here (we'll call it non hypocrite Wednesday) but, somebody (who is willing to hypocratize) let that 20 year old kid know he can wipe that smirk off his face, he's made it to MSNBC with HATE speech, good for you journalistic integrity blah, blah, blah.
