Hey I'm Sure I Could Do Better Business Over Fish Tacos By The Beach Too...

Entrepreneur dot com says that all the good deals are going down over a round of golf, it's not just a movie cliche, it's for real. From MSNBC:

Stepping out of the office and spending a day on the course provides more advantages than meeting over coffee or giving the typical sales perks.

"It engages your mind and body," says Celeste Hilling, 49. "It's a nice, casual environment in which to open a dialogue from a business point of view." As the founder and CEO of Skin Authority, a San Diego-based medical-grade skin-care company with sales in the high seven figures, Hilling often opens and closes deals on the golf course.

I'm in a "not being a hypocrite" mood today (who knew!) so I'm not going to make some comment about wealthy, polo shirt wearing dudes getting to play golf for a living while I toil away at a computer, desk, office with a picture of the beach as my screen saver and who died and made them kings of lucky land and why golf? Because, really, I'm all for bringing the work outside of the small cubicle you call home, getting out and about and making the deals wherever.

Shoulda been a business-woman, shoulda, woulda, didn't because when I swing at a ball it mocks me.

Why don't you go to your HOME?!
