Don't quite know if it's news but: An actor with San Diego ties (his grandparents are apparently from here) is going to be on Friday Night Lights. He's never lived in San Diego though, and he's actually from Austin, TX, now living in Los Angeles. But he has San Diego ties, get it.
Yeah, this is sort of pushing it. Next it'll be "an actor who visited San Diego is going to be on a tv show."
