Prices are going up at San Diego hotels and motels, 12.5 percent more as a matter of fact. The San Diego City Coucncil approved a new "non profit tourism marketing district" that will be run by a board of hotel executives. Those hotels in san Diego that have 70 or more rooms will increase their room tax from 10.5 percent to 12.5 percent.
I'm starting to think every time the city council votes it's going to hand down some sort of new rule. I really do feel like the four year old who's starting to figure out every word out of my parents' mouth is a brand new boundary.
Cue the temper tantrum.
